Ideally suited for breweries (our Favourite Customers!) and for hard (London!) water, our FFY to DN125 Adaptor allows the heater to be removed for cleaning purposes.

Once the adaptor is fitted to your existing 8 bolt hole, you can fit a nice chunky DN125 removeable heater, only slightly more expensive than the standard FFY‘s, but removeable via the tri clover clamp fittings.

We are very happy with the immersion elements we’ve purchased from you (2 18KW incoloy elements for use in a brewery setting). They get heavy use, and after 6 years on the one and 1 year on the other they both work as well as the day we installed them. If you want any immersion heater that’s out of the ordinary, Jamie’s your man! I live off grid and heat water from excess PV energy. I used to use a 1kw element but wanted a heater module with three separate elements so I can switch between 1/2/3 kw depending on the sunshine. Finally we find someone who knows their cold ends and trombones from their watts per square inch. It’s an interesting journey full of homespun philosophy and self deprecation. So the team are now in Madagascar to start this new project. A week before they departed we received an urgent request from the Hospital in Madagascar, they needed a set of elements for a water distiller that had failed. Fixing three obsolete French space heaters

Problem solving for three obsolete French space heaters, each with two tiny (failed) 250 Watt elements – discussion revealed that lateral thinking is not dead! Two ‘U’ shaped elements could / maybe be replaced by a ‘W’ shaped item. This would require a little creative work on some refractory brick, using an angle grinder fitted with a small diameter (worn out) wheel. I was very pleased to receive this advice, based on years of experience, that would save hundreds of pounds – three new heaters complete would have been £750. Madagascar!

So the team are now in Madagascar to start this new project.

A week before they departed we received an urgent request from the Hospital in Madagascar, they needed a set of elements for a water distiller that had failed.
I contacted Jamie Bristoll @Immersion Heaters UK Ltd (who didn’t know us from Adam) and explained the situation.

Without any hesitation Jamie quickly put the wheels into motion (this was less than a week before the team were due to depart for Madagascar) and these elements had to be manufactured based on a rough drawing that we had and then shipped to us.

On Saturday morning I received the elements (picture attached), which are now in Madagascar.

We would like to give a big shout out to Jamie and the team @ Immersion Heaters UK Ltd for their professionalism and kind generosity, and for going above and beyond to help make this possible.

Jamie at Immersion Heaters UK has repeatedly gone out of his way to assist me with advice, information, and selecting heating elements for my microbrewery. He is always patient with answering my questions and making sure I understand. He’s never pushed or rushed me into buying any product; preferring that I make my own informed decision. When he makes suggestions, they are practical and save me hassle and money. I’ve purchased several heating elements since December to replace or upgrade existing ones and I’m extremely pleased with them.

I heartily recommend IHUK to all my brewer friends when they need to replace or upgrade their heating elements. You can trust them and the products they sell. I’m not easily impressed by service or products these days, but this is one of those rare, treasured exceptions.

I contacted Jamie from Immersion Heaters UK intending to purchase one of his heaters. After a brief and pleasant chat, he explained that the products they sold were not best suited for my specific requirements.

What impressed me most was his complete honesty. He admitted he was the “world’s worst salesman” because, even though he could have easily sold me a much more expensive item, he had the decency to advise me to look at an alternative. He even pointed me toward a different supplier where I could find a product that perfectly matched my needs for a significantly lower cost. Even if you don’t end up buying a product from him, you might have a witty amusing chat to brighten an otherwise dull day.

This was my first contact with this company and I was very impressed. Their knowledge was excellent and they were able to be flexible to satisfy my particular needs. They went out of their way to arrange a Saturday delivery which saved me from having 2 days without hot water in a milking parlour.
