If every of our suppliers was so patient, friendly and willing to help, then our life would be so much easier. I would have given you 10 stars if I could. I can honestly recommend the company to anyone, however all credit goes to Jamie. He is a guy full of stamina and positive attitude – never in bad mood and always giving 110% to make sure you get what you want. (even if he’s dealing with someone who has no clue what they need – like myself). He saved me hours of research, so I could focus on what I’m good at 🙂
Thanks a lot Jamie. It’s been a pleasure dealing with you.

Opening our new brewery…custom elements with a quick turn around…

Opening our new brewery we had to convert from steam to electric, we have two vessels with different heating needs and Jamie was able to build us custom elements with a quick turn around. We were looking for both power, low watt density to avoid charring and ability to easily remove for cleaning and maintenance. They look good and work great!

Need to ask for technical advice?

I contacted Jamie at Immersion Heaters UK ltd because of a potential issue with the immersion heater in my domestic hot water tank.

I wasn’t buying, and Jamie wasn’t trying to sell to me … just a straightforward conversation about an issue of reliability, investigating the potential problems and outcomes that might need resolving.

And in a most friendly, helpful and informative way, Jamie addressed all of my questions in just the way you would expect a good and reliable friend to speak with you – straight, honest and sincere.

One of the most refreshing and positive interactions I have had with an organisation in a long time.

If you have an immersion heater query … don’t hesitate … ring Jamie!

You’re ACES in my book.

Well, where to begin? I want to say THANK YOU for your help and your recommendation to contact Dave and the folks at TP Fay. They have been EXTREMELY patient with me and have fabricated and delivered a working solution for my expensive Italian oven. The replacement element was delivered yesterday, and today my wife and I installed and turned on the unit, and it appears to be working well!!!

When you think about it, this was such an improbable path to actually find a solution for something the original manufacturer simply walked away from. Thanks for all your help, Thanks for your patience in helping me, Thanks for referring me to Dave and his team who have been incredibly awesome and patient as well.

Thanks Jamie. You’re ACES in my book!

Immersion therapy

Finally we find someone who knows their cold ends and trombones from their watts per square inch. It’s an interesting journey full of homespun philosophy and self deprecation. Buying first class British made as opposed to far eastern compromise engineering helps ease the bank account strain but nothing helps the strain of exposure to that brummy accent. I think I may need a course of immersion (geddit?) therapy. Thank you, Jamie.

…one of those rare, treasured exceptions.

Jamie at Immersion Heaters UK has repeatedly gone out of his way to assist me with advice, information, and selecting heating elements for my microbrewery. He is always patient with answering my questions and making sure I understand. He’s never pushed or rushed me into buying any product; preferring that I make my own informed decision. When he makes suggestions, they are practical and save me hassle and money. I’ve purchased several heating elements since December to replace or upgrade existing ones and I’m extremely pleased with them.

I heartily recommend IHUK to all my brewer friends when they need to replace or upgrade their heating elements. You can trust them and the products they sell. I’m not easily impressed by service or products these days, but this is one of those rare, treasured exceptions.

So the team are now in Madagascar to start this new project. A week before they departed we received an urgent request from the Hospital in Madagascar, they needed a set of elements for a water distiller that had failed. I contacted Jamie Bristoll @Immersion Heaters UK Ltd (who didn't know us from Adam) and explained the situation. Without any hesitation Jamie quickly put the wheels into motion (this was less than a week before the team were due to depart for Madagascar) and these elements had to be manufactured based on a rough drawing that we had and then shipped to us. On Saturday morning I received the elements (picture attached), which are now in Madagascar. We would like to give a big shout out to Jamie and the team @ Immersion Heaters UK Ltd for their professionalism and kind generosity, and for going above and beyond to help make this possible.

Fixing three obsolete French space heaters

Problem solving for three obsolete French space heaters, each with two tiny (failed) 250 Watt elements – discussion revealed that lateral thinking is not dead! Two ‘U’ shaped elements could / maybe be replaced by a ‘W’ shaped item. This would require a little creative work on some refractory brick, using an angle grinder fitted with a small diameter (worn out) wheel. I was very pleased to receive this advice, based on years of experience, that would save hundreds of pounds – three new heaters complete would have been £750. The village hall Treasurer will be pleased, too. Many thanks and best regards.

We’re delighted with our new set of custom-built immersion heaters for our Genio still, they’re beautifully made and superbly engineered. Jamie is such a pleasant chap to do business with, giving us plenty of advice and producing the finished articles without any fuss … and at a more attractive price than that of the original supplier! We sent him the old right-hand one and from that he created a new set (left-hand also) very quickly. Thanks Jamie, we look forward to a long-standing relationship with Immersion Heaters UK – we won’t need to go anywhere else.

We were designing a large (500 liter) boiler for a brewery and were shopping around for an appropriate heating element. We searched far and wide on the web (globally) for the equipment we needed. We wanted a fast brew and we have very hard water, plus the low pH of our liquid demanded the highest quality materials (all stainless or incaloy); we wanted very high quality at a good price, and we more than found that with the custom 18kw element we ordered from Immersion Heaters UK.
What we also got was fantastic, knowledgeable service. We are very happy we found theses guys, and won’t bother looking at other companies the next time we need a heating element. Thanks again you guys!

Superb Knowledge, Advice, Quality & Delivery

Just via a few phone calls with Jamie he provided a industrial immersion heater to suit my needs on very short notice. Highly recommend – I’m not very knowledgeable on immersion heater so I didn’t really know what I wanted other then the fitting size and wattage. With this information Jamie managed to supply a immersion heater and thermostat that we wired and fitted to our equipment and it’s working great. Made my life much easier. Well worth it!

Honest, helpful and contructive

I contacted Jamie at Immersion Heaters UK as the project I was working on had started to take an unexpected turn down an Immersion Heater cul-de-sac. Jamie was very knowledgeable and helpful, and above all very straightforward and honest with his advice. I greatly appreciated that he took the time to give me advice that included solutions that he did not directly profit from. If you are in need of a bespoke Immersion Heater solution then Jamie at Immersion Heaters UK is the person to talk to.

…deserve to succeed with your can do attitude….

Well what can I say about the service I have received from Jamie, after I managed to beat technology and send an email picture of the part I required, Jamie explained that he could not supply the unit, but he sent my email to a competitor to help me. Not just here is a phone number get on with it, he knew I was not easy with technology so he did it for me. Well done Jamie, you deserve to succeed with your can do attitude. Thank you

…lighting-quick speed…

Recommended business. I needed the gear to heat a large makeshift pool overnight on a film set. Very quick turnaround with little room for error. Found Jamie (it’s him you deal with) on Goggle and got the information and help I needed, at lighting-quick speed. From one small business to another – much appricated.

Fantastic service and advice from Jamie.

Fantastic service and advice from Jamie – what they don’t have they can get and get made, but the best thing is they can give you advice on your project and help you realise it. As a nano-brewery 10,000 miles away in Australia I can’t fault the service – our heater element delivered with packaging that would survive a missile strike. Jamie helped me with sizing calculations and now shipping micro-p controller with 48 hour turnaround. Finally pricing is very good – compared to Australian suppliers I have saved thousands. Cheers IHUK.

…I was very impressed. Their knowledge was excellent…

“This was my first contact with this company and I was very impressed.
Their knowledge was excellent and they were able to be flexible to satisfy my particular needs. They went out of their way to arrange a Saturday delivery which saved me from having 2 days without hot water in a milking parlour. I have to say that there are other similar units around which are slightly cheaper but the quality and ease of instalation
of their units make them a winner in my book”

Very Happy

We are very happy with the immersion elements we’ve purchased from you (2 18KW incoloy elements for use in a brewery setting). They get heavy use, and after 6 years on the one and 1 year on the other they both work as well as the day we installed them. The outer cover gets quite a bit of spray and we’ve never had any water intrusion. Combined with the service we received on ordering, and the price point, we really couldn’t be more happy. Thank you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of dealing with Jamie Bristoll, and I am extremely impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help. Although I am based in India, Jamie went out of his way to assist me with industry contacts and valuable guidance. He responded promptly, communicated clearly, and showed a genuine interest in helping me achieve my objectives. His extensive experience in the immersion heater industry and his network of contacts are evident. What impressed me most was that Jamie was willing to help without expecting anything in return. In today’s business world, it is refreshing to meet someone who values relationships, integrity, and customer service so highly. I highly recommend Jamie and his company to anyone looking for reliable products, expert advice, and exceptional support. Thank you, Jamie, for your kindness, professionalism, and assistance. — Tony Malhotra, India

Living off-grid I had some fairly unique requirements for an immersion heater, needing 3 elements with different wattages in a single unit. This was no problem for Jamie and a couple of weeks later I had my hands on my solution. Would recommend Jamie and Immersion Heaters UK Ltd.

I contacted Jamie from Immersion Heaters UK intending to purchase one of his heaters. After a brief and pleasant chat, he explained that the products they sold were not best suited for my specific requirements. What impressed me most was his complete honesty. He admitted he was the "world's worst salesman" because, even though he could have easily sold me a much more expensive item, he had the decency to advise me to look at an alternative. He even pointed me toward a different supplier where I could find a product that perfectly matched my needs for a significantly lower cost. Even if you don't end up buying a product from him, you might have a witty amusing chat to brighten an otherwise dull day.

If you want any immersion heater that's out of the ordinary, Jamie's your man! I live off grid and heat water from excess PV energy. I used to use a 1kw element but wanted a heater module with three separate elements so I can switch between 1/2/3 kw depending on the sunshine. Jamie found me a unit off the shelf, and it works flawlessly. His knowledge of immersion Heaters is huge! Thanks Jamie.
