Custom Cooker element

I have (for the second time) had the pleasure of being assisted in the fabrication of two cooker elements (long since discontinued), and after spending weeks searching the web was saved by Jay & Jamie.
I really cannot recommend them highly enough, there seems to be a total dearth of companies like this these days, so it was a pleasure to have somebody say ‘I think we can do that’ and mail back within hours and say ‘yes’ followed in short order by clear accurate prospective drawings.
A truly refreshing experience thank you both.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Jamie Bristoll, and I am extremely impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help.

Although I am based in India, Jamie went out of his way to assist me with industry contacts and valuable guidance. He responded promptly, communicated clearly, and showed a genuine interest in helping me achieve my objectives. His extensive experience in the immersion heater industry and his network of contacts are evident.

What impressed me most was that Jamie was willing to help without expecting anything in return. In today’s business world, it is refreshing to meet someone who values relationships, integrity, and customer service so highly.

I highly recommend Jamie and his company to anyone looking for reliable products, expert advice, and exceptional support. Thank you, Jamie, for your kindness, professionalism, and assistance.

Immersion therapy

Finally we find someone who knows their cold ends and trombones from their watts per square inch. It’s an interesting journey full of homespun philosophy and self deprecation. Buying first class British made as opposed to far eastern compromise engineering helps ease the bank account strain but nothing helps the strain of exposure to that brummy accent. I think I may need a course of immersion (geddit?) therapy. Thank you, Jamie.

Response – Cheeky Bugger! That is a Gammy Mercian accent & I’m ridiculously proud of it! Thanks for taking time out to make me smile

If you want any immersion heater that’s out of the ordinary, Jamie’s your man.

If you want any immersion heater that’s out of the ordinary, Jamie’s your man! I live off grid and heat water from excess PV energy. I used to use a 1kw element but wanted a heater module with three separate elements so I can switch between 1/2/3 kw depending on the sunshine. Jamie found me a unit off the shelf, and it works flawlessly. His knowledge of immersion Heaters is huge!

Thanks Jamie.

Fantastic service and advice from Jamie.

Fantastic service and advice from Jamie – what they don’t have they can get and get made, but the best thing is they can give you advice on your project and help you realise it. As a nano-brewery 10,000 miles away in Australia I can’t fault the service – our heater element delivered with packaging that would survive a missile strike. Jamie helped me with sizing calculations and now shipping micro-p controller with 48 hour turnaround. Finally pricing is very good – compared to Australian suppliers I have saved thousands. Cheers IHUK.

Very Happy

We are very happy with the immersion elements we’ve purchased from you (2 18KW incoloy elements for use in a brewery setting). They get heavy use, and after 6 years on the one and 1 year on the other they both work as well as the day we installed them. The outer cover gets quite a bit of spray and we’ve never had any water intrusion. Combined with the service we received on ordering, and the price point, we really couldn’t be more happy. Thank you.

Just via a few phone calls with Jamie he provided a industrial immersion heater to suit my needs on very short notice. Highly recommend – I’m not very knowledgeable on immersion heater so I didn’t really know what I wanted other then the fitting size and wattage. With this information Jamie managed to supply a immersion heater and thermostat that we wired and fitted to our equipment and it’s working great. Made my life much easier. Well worth it!

So the team are now in Madagascar to start this new project. A week before they departed we received an urgent request from the Hospital in Madagascar, they needed a set of elements for a water distiller that had failed. I contacted Jamie Bristoll @Immersion Heaters UK Ltd (who didn't know us from Adam) and explained the situation. Without any hesitation Jamie quickly put the wheels into motion (this was less than a week before the team were due to depart for Madagascar) and these elements had to be manufactured based on a rough drawing that we had and then shipped to us. On Saturday morning I received the elements (picture attached), which are now in Madagascar. We would like to give a big shout out to Jamie and the team @ Immersion Heaters UK Ltd for their professionalism and kind generosity, and for going above and beyond to help make this possible.

The heaters have worked perfectly since they were fitted and we have no complaints whatsoever, start to finish.

…one of those rare, treasured exceptions.

Jamie at Immersion Heaters UK has repeatedly gone out of his way to assist me with advice, information, and selecting heating elements for my microbrewery. He is always patient with answering my questions and making sure I understand. He’s never pushed or rushed me into buying any product; preferring that I make my own informed decision. When he makes suggestions, they are practical and save me hassle and money. We were designing a large (500 liter) boiler for a brewery and were shopping around for an appropriate heating element. We searched far and wide on the web (globally) for the equipment we needed. We wanted a fast brew and we have very hard water, plus the low pH of our liquid demanded the highest quality materials (all stainless or incaloy); we wanted very high quality at a good price, and we more than found that with the custom 18kw element we ordered from Immersion Heaters UK.
What we also got was fantastic, knowledgeable service. We are very happy we found theses guys, and won’t bother looking at other companies the next time we need a heating element. Thanks again you guys!

Great immersion heater and superb customer service.

I needed a one-off immersion heater for a heat store/thermal accumulator. Jamie knows his stuff and couldn’t have been more helpful. The immersion heater supplied is clearly very well made, substantial and exactly to spec.

Fixing three obsolete French space heaters

Problem solving for three obsolete French space heaters, each with two tiny (failed) 250 Watt elements – discussion revealed that lateral thinking is not dead! Two ‘U’ shaped elements could / maybe be replaced by a ‘W’ shaped item. This would require a little creative work on some refractory brick, using an angle grinder fitted with a small diameter (worn out) wheel. I was very pleased to receive this advice, based on years of experience, that would save hundreds of pounds – three new heaters complete would have been £750. The village hall Treasurer will be pleased, too. Many thanks and best regards.

Great advice.

Great advice from Jamie, would have been happy to buy from him but because he was going to be more expensive for the parts I needed, he suggested I sourced the part from somewhere else. He gave me great advice and I would be happy to deal with him in the future. All the best. Thanks for your time.

Bespoke service and advice.

Excellent service and advice from Jamie. Our American made Fabric finishing steamer needed a part we couldn’t import or get in this country. Jamie understood our dilemma, gave advice and had the replacement made up specially. The replacement heater element arrived ahead of time and the whole experience has been efficient.

…I was very impressed. Their knowledge was excellent…

“This was my first contact with this company and I was very impressed.
Their knowledge was excellent and they were able to be flexible to satisfy my particular needs. They went out of their way to arrange a Saturday delivery which saved me from having 2 days without hot water in a milking parlour. I have to say that there are other similar units around which are slightly cheaper but the quality and ease of instalation
of their units make them a winner in my book”

I would have given you 10 stars if I could.

If every of our suppliers was so patient, friendly and willing to help, then our life would be so much easier. I would have given you 10 stars if I could. I can honestly recommend the company to anyone, however all credit goes to Jamie. He is a guy full of stamina and positive attitude – never in bad mood and always giving 110% to make sure you get what you want. (even if he’s dealing with someone who has no clue what they need – like myself). He saved me hours of research, so I could focus on what I’m good at 🙂
Thanks a lot Jamie. It’s been a pleasure dealing with you.

Jamie is the man to go to for elements.

We needed an element for our Pilot brewery here in Austria. Jamie at IHUK knew immediately which elements would suit us best. He explained clearly and concisely all our options. It’s not often you find a firm as good as Immersion Heaters UK Ltd and I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. Jamie is the man to go to for elements!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of dealing with Jamie Bristoll, and I am extremely impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help. Living off-grid I had some fairly unique requirements for an immersion heater, needing 3 elements with different wattages in a single unit. This was no problem for Jamie and a couple of weeks later I had my hands on my solution. Would recommend Jamie and Immersion Heaters UK Ltd.

I contacted Jamie from Immersion Heaters UK intending to purchase one of his heaters. After a brief and pleasant chat, he explained that the products they sold were not best suited for my specific requirements. What impressed me most was his complete honesty. He admitted he was the "world's worst salesman" because, even though he could have easily sold me a much more expensive item, he had the decency to advise me to look at an alternative. He even pointed me toward a different supplier where I could find a product that perfectly matched my needs for a significantly lower cost. Even if you don't end up buying a product from him, you might have a witty amusing chat to brighten an otherwise dull day.

If you want any immersion heater that's out of the ordinary, Jamie's your man!
