No Farmers, No Food. Simple as that.
In conversation with the delectably named Steve Parker Nicholls of Farm Gate Farm Shop Fame, it dawned on me!
He said something like “Most Farmers are doing it for the love, not the money!”
It is a passion, like Brewing.
And one that provides for us pleasant peasants.
The greater similarity is that both farmers & brewers are being ravaged by the tax & VATman.
At least brewers are not being forced into a “Suicide Window” as farmers are.
