Often seen on coppers or kettles in Breweries, a DIN80 or DN80 Immersion Heater is good to 20 BAR. Available with 3 or 6 looped or U bent elements with 1 or 2 stat pockets, allowing for control AND overtemp cutout if needed. With that many elements we can squeeze on a lot of power. Or if you prefer, achieve a very low watt density.
Also referred to as 3″NB.

The major benefit of these heaters is the ability to remove them with comparative ease. This makes them very popular with brewers & distillers, as cleaning in situ is a bugger. I know from grim experience with Alex & Nathan at Green Duck. They beat me with a big stick when I miss bits. The screams in an empty & warm vessel are blood curdling.
