Over the Side Vat Heaters

Our Over the Side Vat Heaters are available in the following sheath materials.

• Stainless Steel 321 (Mild Steel Alternative) – Cheapest.
• Stainless Steel 316 – Most popular.
• Grade 1 Titanium – Only if you really need it for your specific chemical as expensive.
• PTFE/FEP/Tefl-on Sheathed elements (SS316 elements with a PTFE sheathe pulled onto them by a bloke that looks like Popeye, link for ill educated youngsters!) Only if you are rich & REALLY need it for your specific chemical as VERY expensive.

These Over the Side Vat Heaters benefit from being moveable from vessel to vessel, (as long as you switch them off & let ’em cool down first) without the need to drain the vessel, as would be necessary with a “Thru the Side” immersion heater.
