Vat Heater Overheat Protection.

The Boss is a fuse on the element, when exposed out of solution, pops the power rather than letting your element glow like buggery, become a fire hazard, and eventually go bang.

Nasty price of £169, as it’s a lorra faff for us. And it needs to be  wired to auxilliary relay or control panel, so when fuse blows, it cuts power to the controller, box at top. So, potentially a faff for you, too.
